I know that this film has been around for a while and that every one and his brother has seen it, but I want to give my two cents worth.

Now, I have been to see some really great action films over the last 30 something years that I can recall. I also have seen some really crappy ones too. But This film, is the STARWARS of the 21st Century.
First off, the only way to watch this film is in 5.1 surround sound, plain and simple, did I mention that the volume should be all the way up !!!!
Get settled in your favorite seat, have all your munchies and drink within reach or have a little person available to get you what ever you may need.
Now hit play and hold on. This movie takes off very quickly and keeps you on the edge from the begining. The characters seem to have been picked for the parts they play.
Shia LaBeoff was wonderful as Sam, The frustrated teen who has the hots for the lead FOX in the film, Megan. Mind you the sexy babe with the British accent is hot too, but there is nothing like good ole fashion American Prime Beef.
So Much for the main dinner menu. Now the special effects were totally kick ass. The interaction between the CG and the people, was in MY opinion, top notch, and the fact that the producers used real GIs is also another notch. (some times it takes a man to play a man)
The score is one of the reasons that this movie is such a fast paced film. That's all I have to say about the score.
So, If you want to check out a great fim that will have you watching again and again, (I'm watching while I type this)Buy, Rent, Borrow this movie. I promise you won't regret it

971 The River, Atlantas Classic Hits Station

It's really sad that a city as large as Atlanta doesn't have many radio stations that play the music that The River does. I mean, what other station can you hear music for almost an hour and at times, even over and hour. The River Is it. The Dj's are great also. Most of the time , radio stations have a person that screens the calls. I called this AM and THE Dj answered the fone. We actually spoke for a few minutes about Joane Jett concerts in 1982. (Maybe she will read this, HI!)
HEY Atlanta, tune in, you might learn something
