Realeat VegeMince

I bought this thinking it might be a nice change from 'proper' mince. I'm not a veggie but do often like veggie food. How wrong I was, it wasn't that it was tasteless, that would've been better than what it did taste like - quite cardboardy and had a really odd texture. The lasagne I made with it went in the bin after my first plateful, so from now on it'll either be real mince or proper vegetables, not substitutes!

Very readable account of how the universe may (or may not!) have started

I've had this camera for over 3 years now, though hasn't dated that much compared to similar cameras now available - main difference being more recent models are smaller/lighter and have bigger LCD displays. I've been really pleased with mine, and has been all over the world with me and turnign out some excellent photos.

A fantasically small but very bright headtorch I got from Millets. Slightly expensive (at nearly £30), just need to go somewhere dark to try in out in anger!

Theatre District

The theatre district in MK is probably one of the last places I would choose to go on a night out, and I'd only go if it was with a big group (probably from work). Not that there's anything wrong with specific restaurants or pubs, it's just the fact they're all fairly bland chain pubs/restaurants with little individuality and little different to what you can find in any other town/city in the UK - only difference being that here they are all in one small area.

I enjoyed my meal there, although the staff did seem to be very busy - so could poprbably use a few more hands. Trying to cover all the cuisine from a whole continent seems rather ambitious though!
