A great read, wonderfully complex plot, unforgetable characters, extremely fluent.

The HP Deskjet F4100 All-in-One is a printer, copyer and scanner in one. I have bought it so that I can work from home and it worked out great: the printer is very fast (especially since I am always using the "quick-draft" option), and I can make good quality copies and scans. When we worked on an article with my colleague I printed it out, made some notes on the paper version and then scanned in my notes instead of typing them again :). Normally, this device costs £80 but I have bought it for £40 in PCWorld - a real bargain!

I was slightly disappointed after buying this babyfood warmer from Avent. I expected that it would automatically switch off once the food is at the right temperature (and keep the food at that temperature for some time). However, they only provide guidelines about how much time certain containers need to warm up and it is the user's responsibility to make sure he switches off the devise in time. So, not much improvement from the brut-force approach of warming up the bottle under the hot water tap.

Although a little bit over-decorated, I enjoyed La Hind when we went out with the group for our Christmast dinner. The food was nice and affordable and there was enough space to accomodate a big group.

Costco Wholesale sells a wide range of products (from food to cloths) at very convenient prices. It's membership card costing £30 pounds an year is well worth it since most of the products can be purchased at half of their normal supermarket price. It is particularly convenient if you work at the OU because it is situated very close by, in Kingston.
