Cadabia, short for a Class Algebra Database Inference Agent, introduces a
framework in which a client can make use of a existing ontology or design his/her
own ontology to describe classes and properties for a particular domain (but
inheriting at least one existing ontology). Base on that ontology he/she can create,
read, update or delete individual objects or data in the Cadabia database. The
database is actually a distributed and heterogeneous database developed with a
three-tier architecture [Chang 05, Tseng 05, Wu 05]. At present, we have provided
a client program as well as a Java API for Cadabia users and developers
respectively, and we have also developed an intuitive (i.e. easy-to-use) query

language for accessing the Cadabia database [Tao 06].
