A very nice hotel out in the east of central Paris. It is served by a good metro station out the front so travelling around is no problem. The hotel was clean and the staff amiable. No problems whatsoever with the room.

The Romeo hotel was designed to provide the maximum emphasis for artistic expression; in the rigour of its architectural lines, the lessons of illustrious artists meld with intuition expressed by new talents.
Francesco Clemente’s intense fantasy is expressed in the imposing work “Metamorfosi in tre atti”, which was expressly created for the Romeo hotel and also in the evocative nature of the work by Gregorio Botta in which tradition of materials like wax, glass and rice paper unite with modern design.
There is also the joyous exuberance of the sculptures created by Sergio Fermariello, who wanted to provide the leitmotif of his ancestry with a pleasurable element in order to bring it closer to the structure of the hotel, as a place for providing accommodations.
And then there is the crystallized communication found in the composition created by Stefano Parisio Perrotti as well as the fascination and the expressive exuberance of Mario Schifano’s work.

Went there for a few days to attend an art exhibition with a friend at the Centre Pompidou: it was very pleasant and the staff makes you feel at ease from the second you step in. Moreover, I had booked a special offer, including a suite + a ticket to the exhibition (about $380 though... but still, it's a luxury hotel and it's a very Parisian one)

Resolutely modern, the Ormelune, version 2009, is all about warmth, colour and a relaxed atmosphere. Our greatest pleasure has been in playing around with our materials…the most incongruous marriages can be the most successful, as we have demonstrated in alternating modern roughcast concrete surfaces with the warm tones of coloured wood, aged leather with steel, vividly coloured fabrics with specially designed prairie-look carpets, bringing the natural universe of the alpine summer indoors. Even though our budget did not allow for the services of an interior decorator, our excellent friend, decorator Alain Perrier (www.alainperrier.com), was constantly on hand to validate our ideas and our choices.
Thanks are also due to our good friend Martine (interior decoration boutique Séccotine in Val d’Isère) who provided much help and an excellent list of suppliers.

While I was in Paris I did a few photo shoots for various music magazines. This one was done at my hotel, La Tour D' Auvergne... The Australian's voice is wise-beyond-her-years: warm in tone, hopeful in feel, and infused with a natural sensuality. They also shared the same irrepressible sense of humor. “You don’t know how to paint or draw, but you are a painter,” Picasso told Prévert, an observation borne out by the exhibition’s final section, which is devoted to Prévert’s collages.
A man of his time, Prévert is also a man of our time, all the more so because so many of the ills he denounced have returned in force during these last decades. As Juliette Greco, who is interviewed in the catalogue, points out, we need someone like him nowadays. This exhibition provides a feast for Prévertians and an illuminating introduction for novices.

Jimi Hendrix came in Paris during the 60's. Paul bogaert met him in Issy les Moulineaux when he was recording a TV set for Dim Dam Dom. On the picture you can see Paul Bogaert and Jimi Hendrix at the door of the studio. After that Paul took an autograph of Jimi and his musicians. The autograph and the photo is exposed in the Hotel Relais Madeleine, rue Godot de Mauroy in Paris, near la Madeleine. Paul is now the manager of the Relais Madeleine.

The location is perfect because it is almost in the middle of the main train stations such as Gare du Nord, Gare de l'est(walking distance from the previous gare) and Gare Saint Lazare.

It's a cafe located near Notre Dame de Paris, so whenever I go see this old lady, I stop for a cup of tea a a pastry because I can't help myself having one:)
They also have what they call "tea flower": when the flower is in contact with hot water, it opens up. Pretty cool!

Hotel De Buci was the best hotel and really inexpensive for the area. Near the Notre Dame, my girlfriend and I had the best time. The location was awesome and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The view, location, price, and romantic atomsphere make this a great place to stay while Paris. Got a wonderful deal!

I've stayed three nights in this beautiful design Palazzo Style boutique hotel called BB22 (BB for Bed and Breakfast and 22 is the number in the street). Only six suites designed with modern furniture and comfirtable, elegant atmosphere. Rossana is the charming manager speaking italian, english and French.
