Review of: East Z East Indian Restaurant, Manchester

Dissapointed, after reading numerous reviews we booked for a friends birthday. We arrived earlier than our 8:30 booking, yet it was 45 minutes before we were seated. No appology, I persisted in getting a bottle of wine in compensation. The mangement eventually relented and when we asked for red we were given white and when corrected were then offered rose? Yes we did get red after much deliberation. These are the problems you have on your opening night not after years of trading. The food was good, but nothing special. I was recently in a Terriyaki bar in Cape Town and that was a cullianary experience. East Restaurant service was abismal, food ordinary the only thing extraordinary was the length of time it took to get seated. Will I return, not even if it would bring on world peace.
