Review of: Y Mountain Lodge, Banff, Canada

The hostel is located just a 15 minute walk from the Fairmount Springs hotel and just 5 minutes from downtown Banff. Although the building does not look inviting from the outside, I was very positively surprised of the rooms. Just 70 Canadian Dollars get you a cozy double room with two queen size beds and private bath. It is absolutely clean and - what you might not expect from a hostel - even room service is included.

The only complaint I have is that groceries stored in the community kitchen are not secure: Somebody stole my European cheese that I deposited there when I arrived. :-|
