A wonderful restaurant and bakery in Pawling, New York. Excellent cuisine and wine list (has received Wine Spectator awards) but quite informal. People come from far away to dine here in the small village of Pawling by the railroad tracks. The bakery gets lines (queues) out the door on weekend mornings. Pricy for dinner (cheap for you Brits with your mighty pound!), but brunch on the weekends and lunch are quite reasonable.
