I'd unreservedly recommend this fine little ice cream kiosk on the A5087 coast road between Ulverston and Barrow. Roy's ice cream is home made and comes in about 20 delicious flavours such as lemon meringue, liquorish and blackcurrant, rum and raisin, black cherry and others I can't remember. Today I had the apple crumble with substantial apple crumbly bits in and which was as good as any desert at a top notch restaurant. Mum had a cup of tea served in a proper mug, none of your paper cups here. Roy's ices seems to be getting quite a reputation among the biker community (you usually see a lot of motorbikes and men in leathers milling around eating ice creams). Roy also puts tables and chairs outside the kiosk and there are a few benches overlooking Morecambe Bay. Roy's ice cream kiosk is in a lovely situation and on a nice sunny day with an ice cream or cup of tea overlooking Morecambe Bay it's as near to heaven as you can get.
