An interesting restaurant that provides expensive food, and even more expensive drinks. £3.25 for a bottle of Corona is rather on the dear side and leaves a whole in your wallet when three drinks comes close to £10. Ouch!

To eat, I had the Cod 'Goujons' and chips, which were glorified battered fish fingers. £8.50 was to be expected to accompany the expensive drinks, but the service was good which kind of made up for it. Despite the prices, Ceno is a nice place to sit outside and relax with its nice decking and terrace.

I haven't eaten here, so can't comment on the food, but as a place to sit outside in the sun and have a drink it's not bad. The inside has a bit too much pale wood and a few too many chrome taps serving poor quality (but expensive) beer, but go on a sunny day and sit on the patio and it's alright.

I have been to Ceno on a couple of occasions and there is nothing to rival its atmosphere, quality of food and politeness of staff. It is these characteristics that are all too rare and non-apparent at other establishments that make an evening out there that much more enjoyable.

The food is superb and is always very well presented. Particular favourites are the crayfish cocktail (which is a much tastier variant on the more traditional prawn cocktail) and the scallops as starters and the crispy duck and the chargrilled rib-eye steak for mains. For desert there is only one choice - the sticky toffee pudding with homemade toffee ice-cream - simply outstanding!!

Ceno manages to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere by keeping things modern and contemporary throughout. It is certainly a venue in which to "Drink, Dine and Unwind" and watch an evening pass by [or perhaps a whole afternoon whilst sitting in the sun on the restaurant's ample decked area outside].
