Fans of the naturalistic politics satirical TV series "The Thick of It" will enjoy this hugely- it's basically a film version of the series, even more packed with memorable lines. The script turns four-letter words into a strange and hilarious kind of poetry. A lot of us in the cinema were nearly crying with laughter. Although fictional, a lot of the events of the film are based on things that happened in the run up to invasion of Iraq, giving quite a sad background to the comedy.
