It is not what people name a "good accomodation". ...[review moderated]...
The only pro is the price. it's one of the cheaper guest houses, but if you look around you can find other houses at the same price.

I've stayed at Jean's a few times, and found it a very positive experience. Jean provided a friendly, welcoming, and sociable environment when I first arrived in Milton Keynes. It may be a little chaotic in places, having the feel of a large shared house, but I found it clean, comfortable, and homely. I have very fond memories of a huge Christmas dinner party, introducing non-Brits to the traditional mix of turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes etc. These kind of experiences are not easy to find, and for that Jean's is unique.

If this was my first day in Milton Keynes I would probably rate it with one star. After seeing other places I think this place deserves one more star especially for its price. ...[review moderated]... I would not recommend it to someone unless (s)he had absolutely no other option.

A special place - but probably it's like marmite, u either love it or hate it. I did love it when I stayed there - sometimes messy, sometimes too small, sometimes too crowded. The good thing is: it never bores you.
